For years producers have been thinking how to save space in the phone to make their devices thinner and lighter, which would allow to implement better and better parts of the specifications of these phones. The company ARM presented a new solution that can help manufacturers save space inside smartphones, more specifically we mean new iSIM technology.

New iSIM technology bases on implementing SIM cards into the chipsets. It means that SIM cards will be added to the same set as the processor. Whole system will occupy less than a square millimeter of area, so in comparison with current SIM cards iSIM allows to save a lot of space for producers. What's more, probably production of iSIM will be cheaper than production of standard SIM cards.
