It has been rumored for several weeks that Samsung is thinking of using the 108mpx lens called ISOCELL Bright HMX in its flagship phones. Accidentally a few hours ago this information was indirectly confirmed by the One UI 2.0 application code.

In the application code, people found information that the upcoming Samsung's phones will support photos at a resolution of 12000x9000px, which will convert into total number of 108 000 000 pixels. There are many indications that Samsung will also use the Quad Bayer technology, which allows to combine four pixels into one and additionally rumors indicate that Samsung will use ISOCELL Bright HMX in its second generation. In addition, in terms of new features, One UI 2.0 application code shows that Samsung will use screen with 20:9 aspect ratio.
