Facebook, as the owner of the Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger applications, has been announcing for some time that the functions available so far in individual applications will appear in other Facebook services and some of them will be unified and will look the same in all applications of this company. On the Internet appeared information which indicates that Facebook has started linking chats in the Messenger and Instagram applications.
Some users have noticed that after launching the Instagram application, a special message appeared informing that the Instagram Direct service was connected with Messenger. From now on, in the Instagram application, Messenger will be a direct chat, or at least as indicated by the announcements, but what is important - users will be able to decide whether they want to connect Instagram Direct with Messenger or use Instagram unchanged. So far, unification is in its early stages and it is being tested among a limited group of users. At the moment, information appearing on the Internet indicates that the function is being tested only among US customers.
