Face ID is a new function of iPhone X, which was presented by Apple as the most secure way to lock your phone. In Apple's opinion fingerprint scanner was easy to avoid, and chance to unlock phone by random person with using Face ID is one in one million. How it turns out, it may be quite easy to cheat this new system.
Security firm named Bkav tested Face ID with using real face and special mask which had specially designed the most important areas of face, which are checked by Face ID. What's interesting, when people from this firm used this mask, phone was unlocked without any problems. Cost of this mask was around 150$, so it wouldn't be expensive to cheat this new system even for average person. In Bkav's opinion fingerprint scanner is better way to secure our phones.
