Conflict between the Chinese government and the US government caused major problems for Chinese manufacturer Huawei. The company has lost access to Google services, which is why Huawei began to develop its own services in case that the conflict with the US side could not be resolved. For several months the US government has been giving temporary permission for Huawei to cooperate with US companies every few dozen days, but this can be canceled at any time. This is what Google will want to avoid, so Google has officially expressed its desire to continue cooperation with Huawei.

Seemer Samat, who is vice president of Android and Google Play Store in an interview with DPA confirmed that Google has made an official request to the US government for permission to resume contacts with Huawei. A similar request has already been submitted by Microsoft and firm received a positive decision, and that's why Windows has appeared on Matebooks produced by Huawei recently. Everything seems to indicate that Google will also receive similar confirmation, but so far we don't know specific date when the final decision in this matter is going to be made.
