HTC's activity in the smartphone market has been minimized in recent years. The company decided that the creation of high-end flagships is not profitable for HTC and the company focused on other branches of its activity, while selling cheaper smartphones in some markets. The company announced, however, that in 2022, for the first time in 4 years a new flagship from HTC will appear on the market. Its premiere, however, will probably be delayed.
The delay will most likely be caused by the lack of availability of components needed for the production of smartphones. However, this does not change the fact that the new flagship from HTC should appear on the market this year. It is to be distinguished by a close connection with virtual reality and augmented reality platforms. We do not know at the moment when exactly HTC will want to present its new smartphone. Initially, the company announced that it would take place in April this year, but for now we will have to wait for the improvement of the situation in terms of supplying components to manufacturers from the mobile market.
