Instagram is one of the most popular social networking sites on the Internet, but in topic of multimedia it focuses only on uploading photos and short videos which length up to one minute. This limit may be changed in the nearest future, but this information for now is only a rumor.
Rumor says Facebook Inc., which is owner of Instagram plans to extend this limit and after changes users will have option of uploading videos lasting an hour. Some sources say that Instagram is in contact with content creators and they are helping in improving this function. New function will focus on vertical videos. New upgrade may mean that Instagram will try to compete with YouTube, but we will see if Instagram will finally decide to extend limit of videos.
