LG G7 ThinQ was presented just some days ago, but firm isn't wasting its time and it has already started works on successor of this device, which will be named LG G8 ThinQ. It looks that LG has concrete plans for future of its phones, and more specifically firm will use different screens in smartphones from V and G family.

Nearly every company on mobile market expands resolution of displays in their phones, and LG made similar decision. It looks that LG G8 ThinQ will have 4K resolution, but firm will also make one more important change because successor of G7 ThinQ will have LCD display instead of OLED screens. OLED displays probably will be dedicated for V family. Definitely 4K resolution will help LG with using VR technology in their devices.
