Patents for foldable phones have been appearing on the market for some time. However, an unusual idea was to patent a rollable phone. This idea came from the Chinese company Oppo, but the South Korean manufacturer LG went a step further. LG is even thinking about creating a rollable laptop, as confirmed by patents published on the Internet.

LG has filed a patent for a fully rollable laptop. This would mean that this laptop would have a roll-up screen and a roll-up keyboard. The retractable screen could be expanded from 13.3 inches to 17 inches. However, it is worth bearing in mind that this solution is only a patent at the moment and there is still a long way to go to develop a laptop that works in this way. We don't know if this idea will ultimately be implemented, but it must be admitted that the concept itself looks really interesting. However, it may turn out that the assumptions for a rollable laptop will be too difficult for a South Korean company to implement.
