The account sharing option has been available on Netflix for a long time and it allows you to operate the portal from the level of separate accounts. The number of accounts depends on the type of subscription you are paying and there are up to four separate accounts. To access them, you have to log in to the main account using the same login and password. Netflix, however, is working on changes in the aspect of account sharing. Recently, there have been mentions of having to confirm your e-mail address by clicking on a link sent to your mailbox, and now Netflix is thinking of introducing an additional fee in some world markets.

Netflix has introduced an option that allows you to set separate logins and passwords for accounts. It will be called Extra Member. This option will cost around 2.99$ per month. If you want to use this function, you will be able to transfer the current video viewing history and private recommendations or lists with marked movies or series to a new account with an individual login and password. For now, this feature will be rolled out to three countries: Chile, Costa Rica and Peru.
