The company's representatives officially said that in their opinion, with such a fast wired charging feature adding such an option will unnecessarily increase the price of smartphones sold on market. Ultimately, however, in OnePlus 8 Pro such a function appeared and the next flagship will also receive it. Moreover, it will be improved.
OnePlus 8 Pro received a 30W wireless charging option. The upcoming successor of this phone - OnePlus 9 Pro, as announced, is going to support 45W wireless charging, which would be a very impressive feature that would allow the device to be charged very quickly. For now, however, we do not know if the standard OnePlus 9 model will receive a wireless charging option at all and all leaks only concern the model with the note Pro in its name.
