Samsung was the first company which confirmed that had plans about making foldable smartphone with flexible display. Some months after first leak about this project on the Internet appeared information that Huawei also will try its forces in creating foldable smartphone. It seems that's not the end and another two firms from China are thinking about this type of phone: these companies are Oppo and Xiaomi.
Xiaomi and Oppo are researching the market of firms which can create foldable displays. For now choice isn't wide because all firms which can do it are BOE, Visionox and LG Display. We know more about plans of Xiaomi for their foldable phone: it seems that Xiaomi will be the first producer on market which will start mass production of their upcoming device immediately after its announcement. For beginning Xiaomi will focus on Chinese market, and after some time firm will release their phone globally - this plan should help them to undercut prices in comparison to rivals.
