Xiaomi has launched Enhanced version of Redmi 2 inf Singapore. It has 2 GB RAM with 16 gb storage (with previous model having 1 GB and also 16 gb memory). Rest of the specs is the same. Enhanced version costs $179 in Singapore.
Additionally, Redmi 2 is now priced at Rs. 5,999 (instead of Rs. 6,999). In Singapore, the phone is now selling at $149.
