In the past, iPhones were launched regularly in September. Due to the ongoing pandemic, Apple in 2020 was forced to postpone the premiere of its new flagship devices from the iPhone 12 series. Then the new phones were presented in October and November. This year, however, Apple plans to return to its standard smartphone release cycle.
According to the plan, Apple wants to introduce the devices from the iPhone 13 series in the third week of September. There is a chance that due to the final amendments implemented to phones, this date will be postponed to the beginning of October, but the company's initial plans indicate a desire to return to the annual premieres of iPhones in September. This information was provided by Dan Ives, who additionally emphasized that the iPhone 13 may appear on the market in a configuration with 1TB of internal memory and in his opinion all four models from the iPhone 13 series will have the LiDAR scanner.
