Since Huawei had a problem with permission for using of Google services due to bans imposed on the manufacturer by the US government, the Chinese entrepreneur began to develop its competition for Google services created for smartphones. The system created by Huawei is called Huawei Mobile Services and it is practically the security for Huawei in the event that cooperation with Google would be hindered again, but it is very difficult to persuade application developers to establish cooperation with Huawei. That is why the Chinese manufacturer wants to, at least initially, offer application developers favorable conditions for the distribution of financial profits.

Huawei offers application developers favorable profit-sharing proportions. During the first year after adding the application to the AppGallery (Huawei's store with apps), Huawei wants to collect 15% commission on gaming income, and other applications will not be charged any provision during this time. During the second year, Huawei plans to charge a commission of 10% on income from educational applications, and 15% from other applications. In later years, the commission is going to rise to 20% of revenues from applications made for educational purpose and 30% from other applications. For comparison, both Apple and Google collect 30% of revenues from all applications, regardless of their purpose. By lowering commissions for the first years of manufacturers' operations, Huawei wants to encourage them to cooperate, but it is not known how this proposal will translate into real interest of programmers.
