Apple has been talking about the introduction of its Apple Card for the Chinese market for some time and in fact the entry of this product into China is a matter of the near future. Huawei wants to fight for this market segment in China, hence it quickly prepared its response to Apple's proposal. The Chinese entrepreneur has developed a solution called Huawei Card and have already presented the basic information about this project.
Initially, Huawei Card will only work in China. This is a standard payment card that has been directly linked to the Huawei Pay application. The physical card has the option of contactless payments using NFC. Customers will have to pay for using Huawei Card as if they used a regular credit card, but Huawei has already announced that customers who will be the first to order access to the service will be exempt from fees for first year. It will also be possible to use the Huawei Card for free during the second year after launching the service, but this possibility will depend on the number of transactions made with the card. Huawei announces that it is preparing additional bonuses and cashbacks for customers, but for now we have not learned details of this offer.
