At the moment, phones that support 5G are an unnecessary addition for many customers, which significantly increases the final price of the device. Most telephones that support this type of network and have a fairly solid specification are expensive, but manufacturers will want to take advantage of the cheaper market segment in the nearest future. The Chinese company Huawei wants to make its position on the 5G market as strong as it is possible and take advantage of the moment until Apple hasn't presented its phones supporting this type of network, hence it should not be surprising that manufacturer itself confirmed its plans of releasing mid-range phones supporting 5G.
Huawei announced that the company will develop devices which support 5G and target market price will not exceed 150$. Probably in such devices, the Chinese manufacturer will use processors like MediaTek 1000L or Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. If these plans will work out, then 5G service will no longer be an add-on almost reserved for flagships. Huawei wants their mid-range phones supporting 5G to appear on the market by the beginning of 2021 at the latest.
