On the market the most popular processors are Snapdragon units produced by Qualcomm, but other firms don't want to depend on other manufacturers and they are more and more keen on developing their own brand of processors - Samsung created Exynos brand, Xiaomi also makes their own units which belong to Surge series, and Huawei is developing Kirin brand. What's interesting, Huawei probably won't share their own processors with other companies.

During Huawei Global Analyst Conference in Shanghai heads of company made the Q&A session, and they were asked about potential export of chipsets produced by Huawei in the future. They responded that production of Kirin processors aims to use them in phones of own production, and company doesn't want to sell them to other manufactures at the moment. However, they also informed that Huawei doesn't base only on Kirin processors, because cooperation between Huawei and the biggest producers on market (Qualcomm and MediaTek) still will be continued.
