LG has created its own "tradition" - in the last month of every quarter company publishes reports which describe financial situation of firm. This time we have received data for the third quarter of this year, and we must admit that the company looks more and more stable in financial way. In the report, however, you can see one very interesting thing. Despite the large overall profit of the company LG at this moment is losing its money due to its presence on the mobile market.
In the third quarter of 2018, LG earned in total 668 million of dollars, and it is currently the best quarter of the company during this year. The company's mobile department reported a loss of 130.5 million of dollars. However, this problem isn't new, because LG has been reporting a loss for quite a long time caused by its presence on the smartphone market, but to be honest this loss is not too big in comparison to the numbers from previous years. That's why we can say that the future of smartphones produced by LG looks promising after all. The company has changed its plans regarding smartphones, and one of the turning points for the company is planned to be LG V40 ThinQ, which should guarantee the company a much more revenue than previous devices of this firm.
