Facebook as a company has just changed its name to Meta, and today we receive new information about the company's future. This time they concern potential activity on the smartwatch market. Everything indicates that Meta wants to enter this market by providing unusual equipment, which will be a smartwatch equipped with a camera.
Information about the watch developed by Meta was leaked thanks to the source code in the Ray-Ban Stories application for iOS. This may mean that Meta will work closely with Ray-Ban in creating its watch, but for now we can only guess to what extent the companies will cooperate with each other. It is worth mentioning that even before changing the name, Facebook already cooperated with Ray-Ban on the creation of smart glasses. The leak itself, however, provided the first photographs of the design of the watch. It will be a bit similar to the Apple Watch in terms of shape, but the biggest technological innovation will be the aforementioned camera located on the front of watch. The price of the watch itself is likely to be set at around 400$.
