The next generation of Pixel phones from Google is getting close now. First Pixels are getting good reviews from the start, and many people are looking forward to the new generation of phones. Thanks to journalist Evan Blass we know a bit more about these new devices, and even we know when we should expect presentation of Pixel 2 phones.
All fans of this series should mark 5th of October in the calendars because during this day Google will present officially phones from second generation of Pixels - exactly year and a day after presentation of first generation.
We know also a bit more about specification of two new Pixels. Smaller version, called "Walleye" by Google will have 4,97-inch screen with 1920x1080 resolution, 4GB of RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 processor. Bigger option, Pixel 2 XL will have 5,99-inch display with 2560x1440 resolution, 4GB of RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 processor. Both devices won't have headphone jack input. As we can see new Pixels will have completely new processors which at this moment aren't available on market, so we're very interested how they will look but we shouldn't expect great qualitative leap in relation to previous Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.
