Nokia brand has relatively recently returned to the market thanks to HMD. There are many patents and unusual solutions associated with the Nokia brand, thanks to which company has the opportunity to establish cooperation with other producers by exchanging their innovative ideas. Already a few months ago, HMD announced their deal with Xiaomi, and now HMD confirmed that they signed another deal, once again with a Chinese company. This time it's about cooperation with Oppo.
Contract was signed for cooperation for the next few years, and details of this transaction were not made public. We do not even know the plans of both companies which result from contract, but it's very likely that both companies want cooperate during development of 5G technology. This guesses appeared due to the increased activities of HMD in order to develop this technology, but the contract certainly aims to cooperate in more projects than just one.
