All details of events organized by big companies are all teed up long before presenting the date of this event to journalists or fans of brand. OnePlus, however, decided to take a radical step, because firm changed the previously announced date of the OnePlus 6T's premiere.
Initially, the presentation of OnePlus 6T was scheduled for 30th of October, but after discussions with experts Chinese company decided to change this date. As we can read on the OnePlus forum, official presentation of the new phone of this company will take place the day before it was planned. The reason is simple - on 30th of October Apple planned its conference, and OnePlus was afraid that their event will go unnoticed on the market when both companies will plan their conferences on the same day. It is astonishing that OnePlus openly talks about possible problems in the confrontation with Apple, but after a long reflection we must admit that this is a reasonable move. What's more, OnePlus plans reimbursement for those who won’t be able to come to an event. In addition, Chinese company promises to cover any costs caused by changing date of presentation, including change of flights and hotel reservations.
