The Snapdragon Insiders group is a community of approximately 1.6 million members who are interested in the development of the mobile market, in particular of processors created by Qualcomm. It has been said for some time that Qualcomm is considering creating its smartphone, but no one expected the phone to be created just for the Snapdragon Insiders group. However, it turned out that this is actually the case. Members of the aforementioned group can purchase device called Smartphone for Snapdragon Insiders.
The smartphone was developed by ASUS on behalf of Qualcomm. In terms of specifications, the smartphone is very similar to the top unit from ASUS, i.e. ASUS ROG Phone 5. The phone from Qualcomm received a screen with a diagonal of 6.78 inches and a refresh rate of 144Hz, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, 16GB RAM, 512 GB of UFS 3.1 internal memory, a single 24MP front camera, triple main camera consisting of 64MP, 12MP and 8MP lenses, and the whole will work on a battery with a capacity of 4000mAh.
The price of the phone, however, is very high, as the smartphone will be available to group members for 1499$. It is worth mentioning, however, that the received set does not only include a phone, but also wireless headphones with function of active noise reduction, a 65W charger, a USB-C cable and a bumper case.
