The production of individual parts for smartphones is currently a big problem for companies, which has been caused largely due to the ongoing pandemic. However, this is not the only reason that affects the market. The relations between China and the United States have a strong impact on Chinese companies all the time. One of the companies that suffer from this is BOE, which specializes in creating screens for smartphones. BOE has been cooperating with Huawei all the time, but due to the restrictions imposed, firm has problems selling phones on the American market, which also affects the cooperation with BOE. It turns out, however, that BOE will also supply screens for phones from another manufacturer, such as Samsung, in the nearest future.
Despite the fact that Samsung has a branch responsible for the production of screens, cooperation with BOE will allow for financial savings. Reports from journalists indicate that buying screens from BOE may turn out to be cheaper than creating original screens. The panels from BOE are to be used in the Galaxy M series phones. Thanks to this, the Samsung department responsible for the production of screens will be able to focus on creating displays designed especially for the company's flagship devices.
