As Spotify itself indicates, introducing changes to the application dedicated to desktops has been one of the company's main tasks recently. The company has done a lot of research and tests in recent months, listening to its users with the aim of improving this version of Spotify. Ultimately, the company managed to introduce some new features that are already being released to users all over the world.
Spotify's desktop application has received a new design that closely resembles the smartphone version of the application. The search option has been moved to the left side to the side menu of the application. Right below we can find "Library" function, where users will be able to save any content from Spotify, ranging from music tracks to podcasts. In addition, creating playlists on the computer from now on will be even more simple, as users will be able to directly drag a song to the playlist to add it. Spotify has also added a new add-on for premium subscribers who will be able to download music and podcasts to computers and play them offline. All changes are now slowly being released worldwide and releasing update worldwide seems to be a matter of the coming days.
