There were rumors about a potential takeover of Arsenal by Spotify owner Daniel Ek. However, the information about the potential sponsorship of the FC Barcelona team by Spotify was more serious. In the end, these reports turned out to be true and Spotify became the official sponsor of the club from Catalunya.
FC Barcelona sponsorship deal with Spotify is scheduled to run for 4 years. The cooperation will start from July 2022. As part of the cooperation, the website will be able to place its logo on the shirts of the men's and women's football sections, and in addition the company's logo will also be on the training jerseys. What's more, Spotify's name will be included in the official name of FC Barcelona's football stadium and from now on it will be officially called Spotify Camp Nou. The financial details of the cooperation have not been made public.
