As is well known, all iPhones come with a Lightning port. This is a distinguishing feature of these phones, where virtually every other phone on the market is equipped with a USB-C port. Sometimes it can be annoying, especially when you forget your charger at home and want to charge your smartphone, for example, when you are at home with your friends who do not have a charger dedicated to iPhones. However, an iPhone with a USB-C port appeared on the market. Unfortunately, this is not a model designed for mass sales, but only a prototype created by a robotics student.

The author of the modified iPhone is Ken Pillonel. He changed the iPhone X in such a way that the Lightning port was transformed into a fully functional USB-C port. After doing his work, the author put the modified phone art up for auction on eBay. The auction generated a lot of interest. Ultimately, 116 bids were submitted, and the highest winning bid was 86 001$.
