WhatsApp is one of the most popular messengers in the world. It is available in versions for various platforms, but until now, to use the desktop version, it was still necessary to verify the application via WhatsApp for smartphones, and the phone had to be connected to the Internet all the time. For several months, however, Facebook has been testing the option to use WhatsApp on other devices when the phone is not online, and this feature has started to reach users in the last hours.
This option is available to users using the latest versions of the application. You will be able to use WhatsApp when your phone is not online, but after updating WhatsApp you will have to reconnect all devices to the main application on your smartphone. After this, it will be possible to receive and send messages up to 14 days from the moment the phone loses its Internet connection. This function can be especially useful when the phone is lost or when our smartphone is close to being discharged.
