Yesterday started 2019 World 5G conference, on which will attend by many of the largest companies from the mobile market. The Chinese company Xiaomi presented there its plans for the future. Firm has developed a solution that is expected to significantly improve the efficiency of work during creating smartphones. All thanks to the creation of a special factory.
The factory is under construction in the Beijing Economic and Technical Development Zone and it will have a 5G network developed inside that will allow for automation of production lines. Due to this solution and a large database of collected data, company predicts that department currently under construction will finally be able to produce as many as 60 smartphones per minute. If the plans actually translate into real actions, new department will work around 60% more effective compared to what current factories of most companies offer. Ultimately, construction work on the premises of the future factory are going to be completed in December 2019.
