Xiaomi some time ago presented their plans for future. They want to make one of the biggest streaming platforms, which should compete with such websites as YouTube or Spotify because Xiaomi's platform is created by two different services: Mi Music and Mi Video. New idea is currently tested and whole project is in beta version. Since today beta version will be available in new country - India.
Mi Music in India will be powered by Hungama, which is one of the biggest streaming services in this country. Whole service will offer over 10 million free tracks, and for 13.49$ per year users will have option of premium subscription which will offer downloading songs for playing them offline. Mi Video will offer over 500 000 hours of content, and nearly 80% of it will be available for free. We don't know anything about potential premium subscriptions of Mi Video.
