For some time YouTube's users have been able to use the autoplay option. To be honest, this feature still needs improvement to work in a similar way to choosing of songs dedicated for users after finished playlist on Spotify, and YouTube is aware of this situation. This can be proved by the information that comes to us from India, where some people were given the opportunity to test changes in the automatic playing of videos on the site.
Currently, auto-play movies are selected according to one algorithm based on previously watched films, and we don't have much influence on what YouTube will recommend us. After upcoming changes, users should have more possibilities for autoplay as can be seen in the attached photos. After selecting the appropriate categories application will only play films from the genres selected by us, and this will allow for avoiding films which are not interesting for us. New addition is in beta version and it is not known how it will work in the final phase, but it will certainly be a good change that will satisfy users.
