The streaming department at Disney did not record its best year. Annual reports indicate that this department generated huge losses of 1.47 billion dollars. According to the directors, however, the company was aware of the costs of launching the Disney+ platform and, in their opinion, the biggest losses are in the current period. The situation should change over time, and the subscription plans available in this service are waiting for major modifications. It will be more expensive, and in addition, a completely new type of subscription will appear in the application.

The new plan will be available at an attractive price, but it will include ads while using Disney+. Disney announces that for an hour of video material there will be about four minutes of displaying ads. The price for this plan is expected to be 7.99$ per month. The remaining ad-free plans will still be available on Disney+, but the company has decided to increase their prices in some markets. Standard ad-free plans will start at 10.99$ for the Disney+ Premium variant.
