Messenger is currently one of the most popular apps used for communication in the world. Internet users often use Facebook's application to communicate with their friends or colleagues. It is natural that users would like to reliably protect information provided in private messages. Facebook is aware of this and for this reason Messenger users will get a new option to protect their profile.

Messenger, as announced, will have option to protect account access using Apple's Face ID. After enabling the appropriate option in the settings and confirming your identity, users will be able to choose how they want to protect their account, and one of the options will be data protection through face recognition. In addition, customers will be able to set a time limit after which verification via Face ID will be obligatory. For now, this feature has been introduced for a limited group of customers using Apple's phones, but in the future it will probably also be introduced to the application created for Android.
