Until now, users using Google Maps couldn't directly share the screen between maps and Street View. To get back to the maps using Street View, users had to manually return to the previous window. It turns out, however, that Google is working hard on changes that will allow users to use the map and the Street View function at the same time.
It can be seen that Google is gradually introducing the split screen feature into Maps. It will allow users to use the map and Street View at the same time, which will also allow to smoothly switch the Street View view by clicking on the appropriate area on the map displayed below. The creators, however, left a special button that, if necessary, users will be able to display any of the views in full screen resolution after tapping on it. These changes were noted with the release of the Maps update to version 10.59.1 by Google, but it is likely that these changes are made on the company's servers. The feature is being released gradually, which is probably why Google didn't announce the new feature in its app yet.
