Purism is an company which mainly focuses on developing of PureOS - system based on Linux, which is presented by firm as "the most safe system available on market". Now Purism wants to test themselves in new project, because on their website we can find fundraiser and information that firm needs to receive 1.5 million of dollars. If this amount of money will be collected, then company will release phone with completely clean Linux system named Librem 5.

We don't know everything about device's possible look, but it's sure that Purism plans to equip phone with 5-inch display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage plus microSD slot, cameras located both on back and front, headphone jack input and phone will support LTE connection. Rest of things like processor used in Librem 5 is unknown at this moment, but if Purism will be sure which unit will be used in this device they will inform about it on their official website. If whole initiative will end successfully, shipping of first copies will take place in 2019.
