OnePlus is a relatively young company that was founded in 2013 and its activity is focused on creating phones. In just a few years, the company has gained the sympathy of many customers, and the group of buyers of their devices is growing from week to week. One of the reasons why this is happening is good communication with owners of their devices and regular software updates even for relatively older devices.
Another confirmation of the fact that OnePlus should be a example for other companies in topic of support for its devices is announcement from the official OnePlus forum, where one employee published company plans for the future regarding updates for specific phones. OnePlus will release regular updates of Android for all phones from OnePlus 3 and all launched after it. OnePlus 3 and 3T will receive regular updates until November in this year. OnePlus will also publish new stable version of OxygenOS at the beginning of July. Basing on examples of this phones we can deduce how firm will support other devices - we expect that all smartphones will have 2 years of standard software support, and then also firm wants to improve device's security for one more year.
