Samsung does not give up the development of this type of phones, hence the company has concluded a contract with the manufacturer of ultra-thin glasses that will be used in foldable smartphone screens.
Samsung has entered into this agreement with Dowoo Insis. It is a contract that allows Samsung to exclusive use of this company's ultra-thin displays in their phones, so that this type of glass will not go to other manufacturers. It can be seen that Samsung is counting heavily on achieving the target set for 2020, which indicates that the company will be able to sell as many as 6 million foldable phones next year.
