Samsung is one of the companies which openly declared that releasing of its foldable smartphone on the market is just a matter of time. The South Korean company announced its smartphone at MWC 2019, but details of foldable screen have been known to us for several months. Everything indicates that Samsung is not interested in distinguishing itself from companies on the mobile market, but it only focuses on maximizing the profits generated by this project because foldable screen of Samsung's production has been offered to other companies.

The screen offered to other manufacturers is probably slightly smaller than the panel used in Galaxy Fold, as the supposedly offered model is 7.2-inch. Such cooperation may be beneficial for both sides - Samsung would earn on the production of displays, and other companies would save money by avoidance of entire production process of not cheap displays. At the moment, foldable displays have been offered to Apple and Google, but it's possible that this list will not end on two firms. Samsung sees a chance to reduce the prices of foldable devices thanks to cooperation with other companies from the very beginning of their presence on the market, which can have a key impact on the good reception of this type of devices by customers.
