Epic Games became famous for creating one of the most popular games in the world, which is Fortnite. The company, however, is constantly developing, trying its hand also in other branches of the electronics industry. The recently announced investments of two companies: Sony and KIRKBI, the owner of the LEGO group, will certainly help in the further development of Epic Games.
According to the information officially announced on the Epic Games website, we can confirm that both companies have decided to invest in Epic Games. Both companies invested the same amount in Epic Games, i.e. 1 billion of dollars. The 2 billion of dollars in support received is to be invested by Epic Games primarily to develop its own metaverse. It will be the next step in the development of the company, which is already valued at approximately 31.5 billion of dollars.
