Spotify at this moment is the most popular streaming service on the market, but Apple Music wants to compete with them, and Apple makes a lot of new projects which may cause that in the nearest future more people will use their service instead of Spotify. That's why Spotify wants to strengthen its position on the market. Spotify has more than 90 million free users and company wants to increase this number by the newest update.
Newest update will change design of app for people with free accounts. On the bottom of app Spotify located four buttons - home, search, library and new button which will directly move users to page where they will have option of payment for premium subscription. Apart from this change Spotify created also 15 playlists which will work like all playlists for premium users - so users with free accounts won't have limits in changing songs while they will listen to this playlists. Newest update won't change anything important for people with premium subscription.
