We recently reported that there has been a major change to Twitter's board of directors. The board now includes the popular entrepreneur Elon Musk, who has become the largest shareholder in the entire Twitter company. It is possible that such a change will speed up the introduction of one of the functions most awaited by portal users, which is the possibility of editing a tweet already sent.

After taking over more than 9% of Twitter shares, Elon Musk asked a question on the portal through his private account. He asked Twitter users if they would like to add a button to edit tweets to the portal. Over 73% of users participating in the poll confirmed that they would like such a feature on Twitter. It is worth mentioning that the official Twitter profile mentioned the addition of such a function to the website, while this information was posted on the Internet on 1st of April, which might have been taken as an April Fool's Day joke. A few days later, however, from the same profile, the information about the work on the tweet editing button was confirmed. This feature should hit the portal in the coming months, but the details of how it works are not yet known. It is possible that editing a tweet will be possible only in the first few minutes after sending the message and this is the limit which some portal users want to see.
