Twitter is one of the most popular social networking sites in the world. At the very beginning, its main goal was to share short messages, which was conducive to the quick transfer of important information. Currently, the character limit per message is 280, but the overall purpose of the site is different from other messengers on the market, such as Messenger created by Facebook, or so it seems. The latest changes in Twitter, however, show that the portal will probably want to compete with the largest companies on the messenger market, because a few hours ago on Twitter appeared a function that makes private conversations on the portal similar to those from Messenger.

From now on, users will be able to respond to use Reactions in private messages. To use the new function you will be able to react by pressing the appropriate icon next to the message or by double-clicking on the message content. After making reaction, all conversation members will receive a notification about the reaction. Reactions can be deleted, so way they work is the same as in Facebook's Messenger. This feature is available for both Android users and iOS phone owners.
