Automatic shutdown of devices is a useful function, especially if we watch a TV series just before going to bed. Such a function is available in all televisions on the market, but soon a similar solution will probably appear in the application of one of the streaming giants on the market. The latest reports indicate that Netflix is testing a feature called Timer.
The Timer function is designed to work in a similar way to automatic switching off of televisions. Users using it will be able to set the time after which the application should be turned off on the device. There will be options to close the application after 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 45 minutes from its setting. Users will also be able to automatically turn off the application after the end of the watched episode of the series or movie. This feature is currently being tested and we do not know when it will be available globally for all Netflix's customers.
