Buying an iPhone from the new 13 series is not the easiest task. Of course, you can place an order in stores, but you have to wait at least a dozen or so days to pick up the product, and sometimes the waiting period for the delivery of the phone reaches even several weeks. This is caused by the lack of components needed to assemble smartphones. These problems are mainly caused by the pandemic. They have a significant impact on the company's operation, which even forced Apple to temporarily suspend production of the new 13-series of iPhones.

This was the first gap in the production of phones on Apple's production lines in more than a decade. This interruption was caused by the previously mentioned problems with the supply of components, but the restrictions on energy supplies in China also influenced the decision. Apple is still not able to meet the demand for new phones. It is worth mentioning that quite recently the company gave up part of the planned production of new iPads in order to shift the workforce to creating new units of flagship smartphones. Initially, firm from Cupertino assumed that 95 million of new iPhones would be sold by the end of 2021, but these plans have been verified and the current goal is to sell about 83-85 million of phones by the end of the year.
