Apple is more and more willing to use its original components in new devices. As a result, company from Cupertino is becoming more and more independent, which has a positive effect on the company's plans for the future. On the occasion of the premiere of new MacBooks, Apple boasted about its new proprietary processors for computers. In practice, this means that Apple became independent from Intel by creating its own proprietary Apple M1 processor. It should be similar in the area of smartphones.

At the moment, Apple is dependent on Qualcomm in many areas when it comes to smartphone components. A particular problem appeared in the case of new iPhones, where Apple wanted to introduce 5G support to its phones, hence the company was forced to purchase many units of Snapdragon X55 supporting 5G. Johny Srouji, who serves as Apple's vice president in the hardware department, announced that the company has recently made great progress, which will soon allow for the production of the first proprietary cellular modem from Apple. So far, however, we didn't find any specific details on this matter, but the announcement itself already indicates that Apple is very much thinking about independence from other manufacturers in topic of supply of components for the production of electronics.
