Carl Pei, who spent many years at OnePlus, has been trying to implement a similar policy since the launch of a new company called Nothing. Ultimately, Nothing is to offer flagship solutions at a reasonable price, hence it was not surprising that in the case of the upcoming Nothing Phone (2) the company decided to use a Qualcomm processor. Until now, however, it was not clear what unit exactly will be used in the phone. These doubts were dispelled by Carl Pei himself.

Carl Pei confirmed earlier rumors that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor will be used in Nothing Phone (2). The 8 series, compared to the 7 series processors from Qualcomm, is to guarantee better battery life, but also better network connection quality and this unit is supposed to give more opportunities in terms of photography.
