In previous year Google was fined for 2.7 billion of dollars for unacceptable manipulation in Google Play Store's rankings where Google exhibited much more the applications of its production than applications of other producers. Punishment was confirmed by the European Commission, and after year Google received one more fine and this time it’s the biggest fine in European Union’s history.

This time Google has been accused of forcing all producers which create devices with Android system to preinstall Chrome as a default browser in these phones. In official statement the European Union said that in their opinion Google used its position on market to improve situation of company and monopolize market of browsers. Google received 5.1 billion dollars of punishment and firm is obligated to stop process of preinstalling to Android system two apps: Chrome and Search. If not, then firm will receive more punishments. Google published official information that firm plans to appeal the EU's decision.
