Because of its poor financial situation, HTC takes into account many opportunities to cooperate with other companies that could help the company to repair its budget. The department responsible for the production of phones from many years is noting a losses, and one of the ways to solve this problem may be the sale of a license allowing for the creation of phones under the name HTC. Unofficially, it is said that a Taiwanese company seriously thinks about this solution.
The cooperation would allow other companies for using of the HTC's name and logo in exchange for license fees. Thanks to this cooperation, HTC could save a lot of money which is now spent on the production of smartphones, because after confirming any cooperation all costs would have to be paid by another company. Journalists reported that HTC is currently conducting talks on this subject with three producers: Micromax, Lava, and Karbonn. It is worth noting that previously BlackBerry company decided to try a similar solution, thanks to which the brand is still present on the mobile market.
