A new feature is coming to Messenger developed by Meta (formerly known as Facebook). It will allow for easier control of expenses within individual groups. Messenger application will now allow users to directly distribute expenses between all participants in the conversation.
The function can be activated via a special icon in the group chat, which will redirect the user to the payment menu. Then the application will display a window where it will be possible to enter the amount of expenses to be distributed. It will be possible to automatically divide the entered amount equally for all participants in a group chat, while Messenger will also allow you to define the division in any individual combination. After that, the application will display a special information about the entered expenses, which will be shown to all chat users. For now, the feature will be tested among some users from the United States.
